Class Battle, unlocked at level 18, is a competition of ship designers within a single class, the number of preferential battles is limited. You get more chips for winning higher Class Battles. Your rating determines the league of galaxies you discover. The higher your league, the better the rewards from galaxies.
You get a total of 52 free Class Battles per week. Class Battles reset each week at Monday 10:00am UTC.

Epsilon | 14% |

Trivia[]
The special coordinate B-Sec7 dropped at a 10% rate during the special event.
Outside of Class Battles, all other sources of Galaxy Coordinates will give L9.
Note[]
Class Battles do not send ships into repair cooldowns after a loss.
Requirements[]
The following information is obsolete. Requirements exist, but are really low.
- At Level 25, you must have a rating of 300 or higher to compete in Class Battles (Assumption)
- At Level 27, you must have a rating of 300 or higher to compete in Class Battles
- At Level 35, you must have a rating of 500 or higher to compete in Class Battles
- At Level 40, you must have a rating of 600 or higher to compete in Class Battles
- At Level 45, you must have a rating of 700 or higher to compete in Class Battles (Assumption)
Strategy[]
Free battles[]
Ideally, get at least 1 of each ship class. If you don't have enough slots, there are more free class battles per week in lower ship classes. (However, you'll want to balance that with normal Ranked play. Ship Competitions also offer most Credits for victories in higher ship classes).
Free but Video-walled battles[]
Players get 1 free class battle every 3 hours. This time limit is based on the time-of-day rather than time-since-last. (ie. Players in EST and PST time zones will have it refreshed at 3,6,9,12 o'clock, so players can fight at 2:50, then again at 3:05.)
Note: the count-down for the video is shared across all ship classes.
Paying Credits for battles[]
Battles cost less Credits for lower Ship Classes. It may be worth doing the first battle for Fighter, Corvette, and Frigate classes if you are confident on winning.
Analysis: Is 1 Chip and 1 GC worth paying 5k Credits? |
---|
worst-case scenario: assume you get an Alpha, which yields 1 Chip only (and worthless blue blueprints). So your net yield is 2 Chips. (note that Alphas generally give 1-3 Chips). |
2 Chips is worth 1 Celestium (this ratio occurs occasionally in Daily Deals). |
1 Celestium is worth at least 5k Credits (Shop offers 100 Celestium for 500k Credits everyday. Daily Deals occasionally offers 100 Celestium for 800k Credits). |
Thus, in the worst case, you converted 5k Credits to 2Chips, an even (or favorable) trade. |
Conclude: this is worth doing (provided you are confident on winning). |
