Galaxy Explorer is where players can explore Galaxy Coordinates, which is the game's version of loot boxes. To do this, players require Coordinates and Energy.
This feature unlocks at level 16.
Acquisition of Galaxy Coordinates[]
Galaxy Coordinates can be acquired via the following:
- Class Battles. Victories will always yield a Galaxy Coordinate.
- Ship Competitions. Victories will occasionally yield a Galaxy Coordinate, but typically of higher value than from Class Battles.
- Weekly Tasks
- Achievements
- Gifts Road
- Shop
- "Coordinates of Galaxies" section will always offer Beta, Delta, and Theta coordinates. These are overpriced; purchasing them is not recommended.
- "Daily Deals" section will occasionally offer coordinates. While significantly cheaper than the "Coordinates of Galaxies" section, they are generally still not worth the Celestium cost.
- Special Offers will occasionally offer coordinates for real money.
- Event Rewards
- Clan Rewards
Trivia[]
- the Daily/Weekly Task "Buy any Coordinate in Galaxy shop" only rewards you for purchasing from the "Coordinates of Galaxies" section.
- All sources of Galaxy Coordinates other than Class Battles will yield L9 Coordinates - even Ship Competitions.
Energy Management[]
Exploring galaxy coordinates cost Energy. Generally, the more energy required, the better the rewards.
You can hold up to 12 energy. It takes 20 minutes to regenerate 1 energy, but you can pay to regenerate all energy at once (1 Celestium per missing energy).
Trivia[]
- Recovering Energy for the Weekly Task "Recover 7 scanner energy" ONLY counts if you pay Celestium to recover, and does NOT count if you wait for the timer. The reward of 10 Overclocking Chips is generally worth spending 7 Celestium for, but be careful not to overspend by clicking recover when you have more than 7 energy missing.
Slot Management[]
Players are limited in the number of Coordinates they can hold - they cannot exceed the number of Slots they have. Additional Coordinate Slots cost Celestium. Max number of slots is 40.
If you acquire a Coordinate when your slots are full:
- if it was a reward for a Task or Achievement, you will be allowed to exceed you slot limit.
- if it was a reward for a Class Battle or Ship Competition, you will be forced to immediately choose one of the following options:
- immediately explore the Coordinates. If you don't have enough Energy you may spend Celestium to fully charge your Energy.
- pay Celestium to buy an additional Slot to hold it.
- discard the Coordinates.
