One of the few attempts to enter the ship manufacturing market by WarTec Systems, the 'Ironwing' is too heavy for a Corvette and too light for a frigate. Regardless of its odd nature, efficient lobbying and "fair profit share" ensured a place for it in modern sports. - Ingame Description
The Ironwing is the biggest corvette that can be obtained with credits only. It is not a good choice for a starting player due to the cost and the fact that the frigates are next and they all greatly outperform it. It is a great choice for class battles though. Its huge size and weak opponents allow it to dominate the class battles.
